Qubits and Quiver Trees

This book introduces children to what will be some of the most interesting and important careers over the next 20 years.  It is split into "Qubit jobs" which look at future discoveries and harnessing new technologies (qubits are used in quantum computing), and "Quiver tree jobs" which focus on looking after what we already have and preserving planet earth for future generations (quiver trees are endangered trees in Africa).

Qubits and Quiver Trees also teaches children that everyone is equal. Children as young as five think people who look less similar to themselves are less kind, and that girls aren't as clever as boys. This book aims to break down those stereotypes and show children that anyone can do anything.

"It's so great to have such diversity in a children's book."

"It doesn't matter what race, gender or religion someone is, or what abilities, sexual preferences, body shape or medical conditions they have: everyone is equal."
